Admission by Donation to Go To Jack Jablonski Fund

This Saturday is not only senior night for the Ice Lions, it is an opportunity for you to help out with a great cause. The Ice Lions will be having "admission by donation" with all proceeds going to the
Jack Jablonski Fund.
Jablonski, as is well known by now in the hockey community, played at Benilde-St. Margaret's School in St. Louis Park, MN. On December 30th while chasing a loose puck, he was checked while in a vulnerable position and crashed to the end boards head first. The horrific result: two fractured vertebrae and a severed spinal cord, resulting in paralysis.
Please come out and support a worthy cause while seeing some great hockey.

How's this for "team building". On their weekend off, the Penn State Ice Lions players and staff suited up for a different contact sport - Paintball. The names and the faces of the victims have been hidden for their protection!

After Penn State made a mess of Purdue on Homecoming, the Penn State Ice Lions went out to help clean it up a bit on Sunday. Well, someone has to do it!
"Bring A Friend" Night

What do you do with a two-week layoff from playing hockey? You play broomball with your friends, of course! The Penn state Ice Lions held a "Bring a Friend" night this week where team members were encouraged to bring (or drag) a friend to the Ice Pavilion for broomball and skating. At The Arch

You can't take a 12-hour bus trip without taking in some sights once you get there. The Ice Lions took the opportunity to visit the "Gateway to the West" - the famous arch in Saint Louis.
Pulling Their Weight

While the rest of the team was playing in the ACHA Division 2 showcase in Saint Louis, five members of the Penn State Ice Lions participated in the "Pull for a Cure" on Sunday, October 9th to benefit the American Cancer Society. The event was held on the HUB Lawn from 10 AM to 6 PM and was sponsored by the Penn State Crew. Here are some pictures from the event.
